My Electric Motorcycle Eve is breaking down and I don’t know how much longer she’ll last. Leaving Bangkok behind, I push on towards Malaysia on my Zero electric bike with a motor that already sounds like it’s on its last legs. The BMS glitched, charging stations failed me, and at one point I nearly ran out of battery completely. Every kilometer feels like gambling with fate. After over 70,000 km around the world, this bike has taken me further than I ever imagined. But now, with a crackling motor and no dealer support in Southeast Asia, I honestly don’t know if she’ll make it to the border… or even through tomorrow. Still, I’m determined to ride Eve as far as she’ll take me. Today was 351 km of highways, traffic chaos in Bangkok, and chasing chargers that didn’t work — the harsh reality of long-distance electric motorcycle travel.
