🔪 Супер Острый Нож Кованный Из Подшипников – Процесс Изготовления Ножа

Today’s project was something truly unique and exciting – I forged the sharpest custom knife out of lots of old bearings. Bearing steel is one of the toughest and most durable types of steel available, which makes it perfect for forging a strong, long-lasting, and razor-sharp blade. In this video, you will see the complete knife making process from start to finish, with every step of forging, grinding, heat treating, and polishing. 🔥 Forging a knife from bearings is not only a challenge but also a way to recycle old steel into something functional and beautiful. As a blacksmith, I always try to transform raw steel into handmade blades that combine both strength and elegance. Bearings contain high carbon steel, which is exactly what is needed to create an extremely hard and sharp edge. This makes the finished knife not only sharp but also capable of holding its edge for a very long time. During the process, I used traditional blacksmithing techniques such as hammering, forging on the anvil, normalizing, and oil quenching. Each step is very important when working with bearing steel because this type of metal can crack easily if not treated with care. After the forging process, I shaped the blade with a grinder, making sure the lines and bevels were perfect. The grinding stage is where the knife starts to take its final shape, and this is always one of the most satisfying moments in the workshop. The heat treatment is another critical stage. A knife forged from bearings must be hardened and tempered properly to get the best balance between hardness and toughness. I carefully heated the blade to the right temperature, quenched it in oil, and then tempered it to relieve the stresses inside the steel. This process ensures that the blade is both strong and flexible, preventing it from breaking under heavy use. After heat treatment, I worked on the final sharpening. Many people underestimate this part, but sharpening is where the knife becomes truly alive. I used several grits of stones and finally polished the edge until it was razor sharp. The result is one of the sharpest knives I have ever made. This blade can slice through paper, rope, and even tougher materials with ease. The handle of the knife was also made with care to ensure comfort and balance. A knife must feel good in the hand, not just look sharp. For this build, I designed a handle that fits naturally in the palm, allowing smooth cutting motions. If you enjoy knife making, blacksmithing, and bladesmithing, this video will be inspiring for you. Many knife makers search for new challenges and materials to test their skills. Forging a knife out of bearings is not only a creative challenge but also a great way to show how scrap steel can be transformed into a powerful handmade blade. I hope this video motivates other makers, blacksmiths, and knife enthusiasts around the world.
