Seeing the poor little guy staring pitifully at the groceries in my hands, I softened and let him into my home for a hearty meal and a bath. I initially planned to help him find his owner, but no one claimed him. When the dog returned the next day and waited for me, I finally understood—this was just a homeless little soul. So our family officially adopted him.
