Каньон Темирлик протянулся на 11 километров и расположен всего в 10 километрах от Чарынского каньона. Он сложен твердыми скальными породами, ширина каньона достигает 200 метров, глубина – около 50 метров. Средняя часть реки Темирлик представлена ущельем с широтой до 1,5 километров и глубиной до 160 метров. Вода реки Темирлик плавно несет свои воды под сенью многочисленных деревьев и кустарников красного барбариса вдоль живописных зеленых полян. Дальше река в тени деревьев стремительно несет воды через небольшой скальный каньон и снова выходит на просторы широкого каньона. Далее в глубине каньона вода за миллионы лет прорезала в осадочных породах глубокий и узкий каньон. Огромным преимуществом этой части каньона перед другими объектами реки Чарын является наличие густой зеленой чащи и туранговых зарослей, создающих комфортный микроклимат на дне каньона. Сама долина реки характеризуется наличием пышных зарослей ясеня, тополя, лоха, ивы, чингиля, барбариса и тамариска, а также большим количеством представителей фауны. Во время прогулки можно встретить лису, зайца, корсака, горного козла, ласку, куницу, горностая и настоящее море тушканчиков. Из птиц здесь обитают филины, беркуты, бородачи, стервятники и змееяды.
