This section shows the main axes of the central part of the 1935 general plan: Palace of Soviets Avenue, Constitution Avenue, and Gorky Street. Some compositionally significant buildings are also highlighted: the Palace of Soviets, the Ministry of Internal Affairs High-Rise in Zaryadye, the People's Commissariat of Heavy Industry on Red Square, the People's Commissariat of Defense building, and the TASS building.
