This is the India most people never see. From Kaza to the last villages of Pin Valley, Spiti, I rode deep into the Himalayas where there is no network, no luxury, only raw mountain life. For the next four days I will live completely off the grid, travelling through villages that survive in one of the harshest climates on earth. Together with Candida Louis and a full National Geographic India production crew, we explored ancient monasteries, met locals preparing for traditional festivals, and filmed wild horses of Mongolian descent that have adapted to this altitude. Life here is simple, spiritual, and disappearing fast.
