My tail goes wag, wag, wag. I get my leash. I take it to Tom. Tom laughs. He says, 'Okay, Buddy, okay! Let's go to the park.' The park! I love the park. We walk to the park. I smell the green grass. I smell the flowers. I see other dogs. Woof! At the park, I see my friends. I see Mia and Taylor. Mia has her camera. She takes a photo of me. 'Say cheese, Buddy!' she says. I wag my tail for the photo. Taylor has her notebook. She draws a picture of a big tree. Tom has my favorite thing. It is my ball. My ball is round and yellow. It is the best ball. Tom says, 'Ready, Buddy?' He throws the yellow ball. It goes far! I run. I run fast. The wind is in my ears. I get the ball! I bring it back to Tom. Tom says, 'Good boy!' This is my favorite game. Tom throws the ball again. He throws it very high. It goes up, up, up. It goes into some big, green bushes. Oh no. Where is my yellow ball? I run to the bushes. I look. I put my nose in the leaves. I sniff, and I sniff. I cannot find my ball. Tom comes to help. Mia and Taylor come to help. We all look for the ball. But we cannot find it. I am sad. My tail is down. Then, another friend arrives. It is Liam. Liam is quiet. He has a book in his hand. He sees my sad face. 'What is wrong, Buddy?' he asks. Tom says, 'Buddy lost his ball.' Liam looks at the big bushes. He walks slowly. He looks down at the ground. Then, he stops. He points. 'Is that it?' he asks. Under a very big green leaf, I see something yellow. It is my ball! My yellow ball! My tail goes wag, wag, wag, wag! I am so happy! I jump and I lick Liam's hand. Liam smiles and picks up the ball. He gives it to Tom. Now, I have my ball again. Tom throws it for me. I run and I catch it. My friends all laugh.
