Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share this project with you—because today, I’m giving a plain 5L plastic bucket a whole new life as a beautiful storage basket! Instead of tossing it out, I grabbed some white fabric, army green rope (2mm), burlap, 6mm and 4mm jute rope, and of course my trusty hot glue gun. In this video, you’ll see exactly how I turned something most people throw away into a stylish basket that looks like it came from a boutique. It’s perfect for storing blankets, toys, or anything you want to organize in style. I love how the combination of ropes and burlap gives it a natural, cozy vibe—and honestly, it was way easier than it looks! If you’ve got an old bucket lying around, don’t get rid of it—try this upcycle! I walk you through each step, from prepping the bucket to wrapping it up and adding those finishing touches. This is a super beginner-friendly DIY, and you probably have most of the supplies at home already.
