In this remote paradise, a traditional Iranian village wedding is a grand celebration that brings the entire community together. Preparing food for a wedding hosting nearly 2,000 guests is an enormous task that begins days in advance. The mountain air is filled with the aromas of simmering stews and roasting meats, as large pots bubble over open flames. The stunning surroundings — tall trees, misty mountain air, and the rhythmic sounds of rural life — make the scene as impressive as the effort itself.
