… the propensities of Radharani. 41:34 These are, of course, very transcendental, great science. One who is advanced in Kṛṣṇa consciousness and well conversant with the śāstras, they can understand. But still, we can discuss from the śāstra. When Kṛṣṇa wanted to understand Himself, He took the tendency of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. And that is Caitanya Mahāprabhu. 42:13 Rādhā-bhāva-dyuti-suvalitam [Cc. Ādi 1.5]. Caitanya Mahāprabhu is Kṛṣṇa, but He has accepted the propensities of Rādhārāṇī. As Rādhārāṇī is always in feelings of separation of Kṛṣṇa, similarly, in the position of Rādhārāṇī, Lord Caitanya was feeling separation of Kṛṣṇa. That is the teachings of Lord Caitanya, feelings of separation, not meeting. “I cannot bear suffering the fever of separation from Krishna, nor can I explain it to you. It is something like gold melting in an earthen pot. This fever produces more distress than poison, it is more piercing than Indra’s thunderbolt, more sharp than a spear plunged into the heart, and more horrifying than the last stage of cholera.” This siddhānta, this prema-tattva, is like the newly grown twigs of a mango tree; very soft and reddish. They are always pleasing to the premī-bhaktas, who in this way resemble cuckoo birds. Paying my obeisances at the lotus feet of such premī-bhaktas, I will try my best to explain this tattva. The three types of separation are bhavī, bhūta and bhavan. If someone says that Lord Chaitanya is an aṁśa-avatāra like Lord Matsya, or if not that, then a līlā-avatāra or a śaktyāveśa-avatāra, then he does not understand the actual glory of Lord Chaitanya, the Original Personality of Godhead, who is full of all perfect and incomparable potencies and wonderful pastimes. yadi nigadita-mīnādy-aṁśavad gauracandro na tad api sa hi kaścic chakti-līlā-vikāśaḥ atula-sakala-śakty-āścarya-līlā-prakāśair anadhigata-mahattvaḥ pūrṇa evāvatīrṇaḥ Prabhodananda Saraswatipada's Sri Caitanya Candamrta Text 141
