Emin feat. JONY – Камин / Kamin (Fireplace) Lyrics + English translation
Feel free to watch because all of the videos on this channel are copyrighted by (and monetized to) their owners, and none of it is being allocated to me I tried my best to make these understandable and to make it easier for you to relate. I added few words to complete the sentences (in italics) so that we could get the feelings better. It's all just my own interpretation. Official MV: • EMIN feat. JONY - Камин (Official Video) #Emin feat. #JONY – #Камин #kamin I was questioning what does it mean by "your lighthouse gave me pain" and only later, after some searching, I got the answer: "Just like a lighthouse, a person who serves as a guiding force helps others navigate through tough times. Whether it's offering advice, lending a listening ear, or providing support, being a lighthouse means sharing your light to brighten someone else's journey. Providing Stability in Turbulent Times" So that is what it means. Watching the MV did help my understanding better. That woman was his lighthouse. But right now, her 'lighthouse' is somebody else LYRICS BREAKDOWN The lines create a picture of someone sitting by a fireplace early in the morning, burning a photograph of a loved one. The fire symbolizes both destruction and a painful release. “Фотография твоя горят воспоминания о тебе” — burning the photo is like burning the memories tied to it. “Разбитая душа” — a broken soul shows the speaker’s deep emotional pain. “Все твои обещания — пустота” — the person feels betrayed, realizing that all the promises from the loved one meant nothing. The speaker is addressing someone they loved deeply but who hurt them. “Твой маяк подарил мне боль” – the metaphor of a beacon/lighthouse (usually a symbol of hope, guidance) ironically brought only pain. They describe exhausting themselves emotionally: carrying hidden grudges, begging, yet knowing the relationship was slipping away. Running barefoot on glass symbolizes enduring self-inflicted pain just to hold on. The mention of the lover’s sweet voice being the only thing that kept them alive suggests that this relationship was once their lifeline. Wishing on falling stars to not lose the person conveys hope and desperation. The final acceptance: “Now you’re no longer mine” shows closure, though painful. It’s essentially a monologue of heartbreak — about clinging stubbornly to love, being hurt repeatedly, and finally letting go because it’s destroying the self. Overall, it’s about heartbreak, betrayal, and trying to let go of someone by literally burning their memory, but still being trapped in sadness at dawn when emotions are raw. 📌 open for requests ✨ Thanks a lot for watching!
