⚒️ Ручной Нож Bushcraft – Кован Из Стали Автомобильной Подвески.
In this video, I take a simple car spring — something that has served for years on the road — and transform it into a fully functional bushcraft knife using traditional blacksmithing techniques and modern precision. ⚒️ This project started with an old coil spring from a vehicle suspension, a piece of high-carbon steel perfect for forging a strong and sharp blade. From raw metal to a razor-sharp edge, you’ll see every step of the transformation — cutting, flattening, forging, grinding, heat-treating, quenching, polishing, and sharpening. Each step is shown in detail to help both beginners and experienced bladesmiths understand the process behind making a knife that’s ready for real outdoor survival tasks. A bushcraft knife isn’t just another tool — it’s a companion for adventure. Whether used for wood carving, camping, or survival, the knife must be strong, reliable, and easy to handle. That’s why I chose automotive spring steel, known for its durability and excellent edge retention. I forged the knife entirely by hand using a power hammer, anvil, and angle grinder to achieve a perfect balance between toughness and sharpness. During the grinding stage, I used a metal-cutting disc to shape the knife profile precisely, ensuring smooth lines and a consistent bevel. After that, I carefully normalized the blade and quenched it in oil to lock in hardness. The result is a beautiful combination of raw craftsmanship and functional design — a custom-forged metal cutter knife that reflects both power and precision. In this video, you’ll experience the intense heat of the forge, the rhythmic hammering on steel, and the glowing transformation of metal as it takes shape. I focused on cinematic close-ups to capture the sparks, textures, and every detail of the forging process. 🔥 If you’re passionate about blacksmithing, knife-making, bushcraft, or tool restoration, this video is for you. Watch till the end to see the final edge test — cutting wood, rope, and paper to prove its performance. I hope this inspires you to create your own knife from recycled steel and discover the satisfaction of turning scrap metal into a masterpiece. 👉 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more forging projects, custom blades, and metal art.
